About Bzzy

Two friends.
One simple idea.

Bzzy is being built by two friends who wanted booking a landscaper to feel as easy as booking a restaurant reservation. On the web, iOS, and Android, clients can search by service, price, location, and availability, then compare contractor profiles, portfolios, reviews, pricing, and completed work. It is designed to help people find the right contractor quickly, even when the work needs to happen tomorrow or later in the week.

For contractors, Bzzy brings profiles, services, pricing, availability, leads, and scheduling into one place. Jobber and Google Calendar connections make it easier to bring existing clients and schedules into Bzzy.

Free accounts include profile analytics and lead insights. Profile boosts, subscriptions, and advanced search tools help contractors find the opportunities that fit their business.

How does Bzzy work?

Bzzy helps clients quickly find the right contractor by matching services needed, timeframes the client is available, general location, and optional budget preferences.

Contractors create a free profile, sync their scheduling tools (Jobber or Google Calendar), and optionally sync their Google Business page to auto-populate public info.

Clients browse, compare, and reach out directly — Bzzy does not handle payments or job transactions.

Is Bzzy free to use?

Client accounts are 100% free.

Contractors can use Bzzy for free as well, with optional paid features such as profile boosts, premium tiers, and lead-searching tools.

How are contractors vetted?

Contractors can optionally verify key business information, including insurance, state licensing, and driver’s license. Once approved, they receive a verification badge, which becomes a searchable filter for clients.

If a contractor is reported multiple times, Bzzy may conduct additional checks such as background reviews or portfolio evaluations.

Our screening process is designed to catch most issues early.

What subscription and boost options are available for contractors?

Contractors can:

  • Boost their profile for short time increments.
  • Subscribe to a premium tier for consistent search visibility.
  • Access lead-searching tools that show people who viewed or searched for their profile in the last 21 days (mid tier) or 7, 14, 21 days, or full month (highest tier).
  • Highest tier subscribers can see all users who searched for their services.

We offer a free 7-day trial for the mid-tier subscription.

Boosts and subscriptions are non-refundable, but subscriptions can be canceled anytime and remain active until the end of the billing period.

What happens if something goes wrong with a job?

Since Bzzy does not handle payments or job transactions, issues are resolved directly between the client and contractor.

If a contractor cancels, Bzzy will attempt to reassign a similar contractor based on matching filters and availability.

Clients receive a notification and can choose from the reassigned options.

Mediation services are not offered.

How does payment work?

All payments are handled directly between clients and contractors.

Bzzy does not process payments, refunds, or financial disputes.

What if my business is already listed on Bzzy?

If we’ve already created a public contractor page for your business, you can claim the page during signup.

Once claimed, you can manage, update, and verify your information.

How do I delete my account?

Account deletion is immediate for both clients and contractors.

  • All private and proprietary data (emails, passwords, linked info) is permanently removed.
  • Public business listings may remain visible in a generalized form so clients can still find your business.
  • Any data tied to a claimed business profile is unlinked and deleted.
  • Legally required financial records are retained until safe to delete.
